Biography

Andrew is a London-based lighting designer working across the UK and internationally, predominantly in musical theatre, ballet and contemporary dance.

In addition to designing, relighting and programming, Andrew has also worked as technical/production manager with National Youth Ballet since 2007, with BalletBoyz since 2010 and for other dance companies such as Ballet Central and Russell Maliphant.

In 2018, Andrew's design for new musical "Eugenius" was awarded Best Lighting Design in the Broadway World UK Awards and was one of 3 finalists for Best Lighting Design in the Offie Awards.

Always eager to take on a challenge and try something new, Andrew derives particular enjoyment from lighting the body sculpturally and responding to music and movement with light.
